New clutch slipping?
I just installed a new stage 3 six puck clutch with brand new pressure plate and new flywheel. It engages at the top of the pedal and at high rpm it seems like it is slipping? Is there a required break in time??? ive heard 300-500 miles. But also is my engagement at a normal height?
It was installed in a b16a3 with hydraulic tranny in a 1995 del sol VTEC
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

sup, did u change the rear-main seal? if did check if there is any leak from under the car between engine & trans if it is fluid is on disc , if not check fluid , bleed slave cylinder
My clutch is an F1 racing clutch, not sure what the rear main seal is but i replaced the bearing in the centre of the flywheel as well as the throw out bearing. I should also add that my car is a b16 turbo running 7psi so it is producing quite a bit of power. I heard some people say it could slip until it is broken in but im not sure?
I dont think it is the hydraulic system as i have no leaks, was working perfectly prior to changing the clutch, and i was careful when taking it off the tranny.
Thanks agian

maybe the tires are slipping?
maybe the tires are slipping?
thats what my friend thinks but i cant hear them squealing nor do i feel and torque steer of any kind. I guess its possible but it even did it while accelerating in 3rd gear!

why in the hell are you going crazy on the clutch?!? there is a break in period for a reason, not for ***** and giggles from the manufacturer, by not breaking it in you destroy a clutches life and can damage it badly. I would take the trans off and look at the clutch to see if you fucked it up real bad, if not maybe you should actually do what the manufacturer says to do and dont take it over 4000 rpm for 500miles, is it that hard? This is why companies (in general) get bad feedback because of the dumbass user not doing what they say and then complaining why the product doesnt do what its supposed to

yeah keep chirping dumbass, if you read my post i said i stepped on it once or twice. Ive barely driven the car, that is why im on here asking, because no instructions came with my clutch, but go ahead keep assuming dumbass.
so you are soo itching to floor you cant wait 2 tanks of gas, thats pretty sad, and its common knowledge you ned to break in a clutch before you're hard on it... but i guess thats to difficult for you to understand
ohh and you never said you stepped on it once or twice, read your own posts
