Default heat?

do you have to have ac to have heat? and how do i get my heat to work?

Wierd coincidence. Like If I don't have AC on and no air on at all (set to off) and say the temperature setting part is on hot, super hot air will still come through all of the vents, and when it is on cooler portion, cool air from outside comes in, I don't really get it.

make sure all you heater hoses are connected,
or that your blend door is not stuck

If you set it on recirculate that'll stop. It's just from the draft of outside air coming through the heater core and out your vents. When you click on recirculate it blocks off the outside air inlet and flow stops.
