what kind of oil??
10w30 5w30. take your pick. as far as synthetic, synthetic blend, conventional, your choice. in the end, it's all the same. no one can prove anything on here.
I use Mobil 1 5W30 110,000 miles on the stock D16Z6 engine. I go 10,000 miles between changes. I go the whole 10,000 miles without having to add. You should get better gas mileage if you use synthetic. Less resistance in the engine.

Oil comes out of the ground so most conventional oils are the same. Synthetic is a whole different story. I use Castrol 10w-30 for my d16y8 w/ 120000 miles. I might consider 5w-30 for winter not sure yet, gotta ask around.
