Default what kind of oil??

whats the best oil to run in my 92 si? stock d16...

10w30 5w30. take your pick. as far as synthetic, synthetic blend, conventional, your choice. in the end, it's all the same. no one can prove anything on here.

I use Mobil 1 5W30 110,000 miles on the stock D16Z6 engine. I go 10,000 miles between changes. I go the whole 10,000 miles without having to add. You should get better gas mileage if you use synthetic. Less resistance in the engine.

try using walmart motor oil then

to me brand matter big time

isnt that over doing it ??? 10,000 miles ??? ....

prove it. it doesnt matter what oil really, just how often. and i'll use gas station oil for all i care, it's all the same.

Oil comes out of the ground so most conventional oils are the same. Synthetic is a whole different story. I use Castrol 10w-30 for my d16y8 w/ 120000 miles. I might consider 5w-30 for winter not sure yet, gotta ask around.
