FUEL FILTER CHANGE?
Just went to autozone and bought a fuel filter for my 93 accord. I was wondering if anyone could give me some hints of how to take the old one off and where it will be easy to acces it from. Also which fuse do i pull out ( fuel pump) where is the location so I can start the accord and have the fuel drained so fuel doesn't go everywhere.
Thanks,

Ok, ill tell you my experience with fuel filters. Ive done a few of them at the shop im working at now. They're real easy to do but can get messy, kinda like a oil change. I'm not sure where exactly it is on your accord but mostly you just are taking a clamp off, and loosening a nut. Make sure you have something to catch the gas. I would guess its on the front driver side somewhere underneath, so getting underneath your car would be your best bet.
Sorry Im not to much help.

Looks to be midway across the top of your firewall, just behind the engine (#1 (or #4 for it's orientation) in the illustration) If I'm reading this illustration correctly. You'll find a solid steel pipe coming from the tank area and a flex hose with steel ends going to the engine. Looks like you'll need a flare nut wrench, and an open end wrench to get the pipes loose.

on that model it would be best to have a 14mm line wrench, and a 17mm?? crows foot. [that weird fitting is called a double 'D' bolt
] I usually unbolt the 'control' box [2-10mm bolts] and flip it over the breather snorkle. Let the car sit for 15 mins and then remove the gas cap; that will relieve all pressure.
The filter itself is held on by a bracket and you'll need a 10mm to remove it. I think I usually loosen up a 10mm on a bracket that holds the steel line to the firewall so you won't have to bend the tube.
