Default d series swap

i have a 92 civic vx and my motor's gOne to ****.. i was wonderin if there would be anythin special i would need to do if i put in somethin else besides a d15.. or would all d series motors jus drop in?

as far as i know all d series should drop in, probably some differences between vtec and non vtec ecu and wiring wise

All D series motors will drop in just fine, assuming they're the same obd generation and you change the ecu to whichever corresponds with the engine you choose. If you have a 92-95 its obd1, and 96+ is obd2. They are interchangeable but you'll have to change a bunch of stuff. Oh yeah, don't forget to get a tranny with your swap. The CX tranny is reuseable, but the gears are way long and slow you down a lot.
