DC2 GSR Motor Mount Question.
my 97 gsr b18 has worn out motor mounts or i guess just the bushings so i figure the smart thing to do is replace them heh. So i decided ill replace all the motor/trans mounts on the car. There are 5 mounts right?
and also what are some good bushings cuz i belive thats all i need. and where to buy them? how much would a shop charge me to get these installed...i have no time to do this with school and work.
thanks guys

You are correct there are 5 mounts. Typically the front lower ones are the ones the tear. The rear is usually fine, same with the upper's.
Most people get the energy suspension kits, but they only work if your bushing is in one piece to begin with. And they only fit the lower two and the rear.
The lowers are pretty easy to replace, the rear is a real PIA. I really have no idea what a shop would charge, but I am sure it is way to much!

e-bay, pepboys. I am sure a local store carrys it.
Prothane makes an inster kit for the upper driverside, but thoses dont fail, so there is not real reason to mess with it. I ma not sure it I have ever seen an upper tranny insert.
