no kidding.

In any case, is it burning oil or is it leaking? You mentioned both in your post. When you first start your car in the morning do you see blue smoke out of the exhaust (get a friend to look)? Are there oil stains anywhere on your block/head/oil pan/whatever?

Wow, just wow. I assume the ms is for Missippi. Anyways, "heads", I didn't think that an Si had more than one. You never answered a question, is there oil under your hood? You know, like on the block, or around the head. Most B16s (mine included) will leak around the distributor area, usually a gasket seal will leak.
How much oil is your car going through? Mine will lose (no drips, just around the dist. area) about a quarter to half a quart in about 3000 miles of driving. Stop driving like a racer at night, what are you doing, living the FnF lifestyle once the street light turns off?

run a compression test to see if the numbers are alright - need to know what it is...? (search)

if that yields decent numbers then run a leak-down test (a GOOD shop will know what this is and know that it is NOT a compression test)

how many miles on the motor?
how hard do you drive it?
what are the maintenance services done to the car that you know of?
mods really don't matter in this case unless they're internal
