b18c1 lsd tranny? whaaat?
i heard that the usdm b18c1 engine did not come with a lsd tranny. only the jdm b18c's came with an lsd tranny. my question is, what is the benefit of having an lsd tranny and if i can't get one how would it hurt me? will the jdm lsd tranny bolt up to an usdm b18c1 engine swap?
a limited slip tranny would cause power to go to both wheels instead of havin all the power at one wheel. and yes, the tranny will bolt up as long as its b-series.
i thought for the GSR tranny if you use for example ITR LSD, dont you have to change out the final drive? unless you can get yourself a GSR LSD (which i heard was very rare). can someone shed some light one this? thx

I thought you needed a new final drive any time your going from open diff to lsd. I happen to have a b18c with an lsd(gsr) which is original from the factory. Its nice to have. I debated owning a front drive car for a long time because I had a 01 civic that didnt handle very well at all going around corners with you foot in the floor but now having a front drive with lsd has changed my mind. You can accually turn without lifting off and still have control.
I say just get it. Plus if you change your mind later its gonna be a pain the *** to add it in.
