Bad Knock Sensor? no Vtec?
first, i did search but did not find anything specific, could not find the relation as to what i'm referring to here: so...
I just finished my b16 swap and as usual i had some codes, but narrowed it down to the KNOCK sensor, so my knock sensor is bad...and soon after that i was throwing the #21 VTEC spool solenoid valve so heres my question:
so VTEC will not engage if theres any other CEL's rite?
so will that show TWO codes? 1 for the original malfuntioning piece and another for for VTEC spool solenoid valve?
so if you replace/fixed the original malfuntioning piece that'll take care of the the VTEC spool?
i just wanna know if i need to replace two pieces or just one..?
thanks guys

There's a problem with two different things here.
For example, an Engine Coolant Temp sensor code (code 6) keeps VTEC from engaging, but you'd only be throwing a code 6. You've got a problem with the VTEC Spool solenoid and/or that circuit as well
