Quick question regarding sale of car/smog certificate
Buyer is picking up my coupe tomorrow....I got a smog check done exactly 3 months ago when I first put my car for sale. So I guess the certificate expires today. Am I legally obligated to take care of that? Does the guy need it? I really don't want to get another smog check. It hasn't even been due for a smog check since I got it brand new. What should I do? I'm picking up the money at noon. Get the smog check done in the morning or screw it?

it depends what you put on your bill of sale. if you put as/is buyer is responsible for smog, then the buyer is. if you put the seller assumes responsibility for smog then you are.
