air/fuel and oil pressure gauges install
Ive herd the o2 sesor comming from the ecu is the red one with a white stripe. Ive got a b16a in an ef civic. Im completely clueless on the oil pressure. Help?
the oil pressure needs to be hooked up behind the engine, you need to get 12" flexible stainless line and proper adaper and screw it into where the oil pressure switch went and then put a T on that line. one side stock oil pressure switch and the other the line goes in to the gauge, pretty strait forward. i wouldnt T right off the back of the block it can crack thats why i suggested the flexible line in between thats how i run mine
FYI, if you have an oil pressure gauge, you dont need the stock sending unit. all it does is activate the dummy light when you have dangerously low oil pressure, which you should be able to determine by looking at your oil pressure gauge anyways.
it will not trigger a check engine code. just run an oil line from the back of the block to the gauge (or the sending unit, depending if the gauge is mechanical or electric) and chuck the stock sending unit in the dumpster
