Question on cam sprockets install?

Is there an easier method of installing cam sprockets and getting the timing correct with the t-belt, then pulling off the crank pulley and going that route?

if the belt is good and does not need replacement loosen up the tensioner and slip the belt off. swap sprockets and put belt back on and retension, turn crank by hand a couple times and see if everything lines up, if not adjust and try again
