Default 90-91 LS DISTRIBUTOR ON A B16 HEAD.... IS IT POSSIBLE? WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

YES HERE I AM AGAIN.. WELL THE WIRING ISSUE HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF... NOW I NEED TO SEE IF I CAN USE MY LS DIST. ON MY B16 AND IF SO... DOES IT NEED TO BE REWIRED? MODIFIED? KEEP IN MIND IM RUNNING A PW0 ECU SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE OBD1 OR OBD2 CONVERSIONS... ARE THERE ANY SITES THAT HAVE A STEP BY STEP PROCESS?? PLEASE HELP!!!

Don't think you can USe a LS Dizzy on a B16 head. You need to find a B16 one. funny how many Heads lose their distributor when being purchased.. I'm assuming your doing a LS/VTEC conversion.

i believe it will work. I heard that you have to hack a leg off because of the vtec solenoid. I know the internals are the same. As long as you have round plugs on your harness for your distributor, it should work. btw, i hear that hacking a leg off the distributor wont cause issues.

yes i heard that too so what im gonna do is sjut see if i can swap over the internals from the 90-91 ls into the obd2 b16 dist that came with my motor and go form there if it works good.. if not... dman i killed to perfectly working distributors ... should i jsut do that or wait for more advice?? im sure one of u out there has done this or ran into it before...

looking at the engine from the transmission side, looking at the distributor, you will need to completely cut off the "front" leg. you'll also have to notch the other 2 holes in order to be able to set the correct timing.
