yes yes im a newbie lol but i wanted to know what else i would need to do an engine swap into my girlfriends 93 civic dx i already ordered a b18c1 engine, headers and exhaust, now ive tried reading up on the swap everything ive read says it a simple bolt on, now the engine ecu auto tranny and wiring harness is on its way what else would i need someone please let me know cause her bro-inlaw is installing the engine and i think this is his first hybrid hes doing so i want everything there for him to make it easy for him what else am i missing please help me out

 

I didn't see axles in your list. Do you have a cat, the length from the header back is different for gsr and civic. If you are making custom then no problem. It's really a straight forward swap. As if you were taking out your old motor and putting it back in. With different axels, computer, and a wire or two for vtec.

 

ya i already bought a test pipe(cat conv) and a nice carbon fiber exhaust and hes a mechanic at midas so hes gonna do the piping custom there so that not a problem but the axle didnt come with the engine order what axles would i have to buy i assume i cant use my stock ones from the car(93 civic dx hatch) so what axles would i have to buy and is the shift linkage ok thanks for your help

 

you will need the GSR axles. I'm pretty sure you will also need the gsr shift rods.
