out of all the ones mosts people get (sk2, evo2, buddy, apexi, 5zigen... )

the car is 2000 gsr

and is there anywhere to get sound clips of these on integras?

 

I've had like 4 different exhausts on my LS, and the one I have now, RS*R ex-mag is the best one yet.

I had a old GReddy catback and it was not the loud it sounded good, but someone stole my axleback so i got a apc muffler on it now it sounds pretty good but i hate apc. I didnt even know it was apc cuz i bought it from castrol place and then one day i went to walmart and saw my muffler and it said apc, i was so mad. So I have a Greddy catback with a apc muffler it sounds good though.

to answer your question though, RSR is probably the quietest.

 

The Mugen Twin Loop is a very quiet exhaust.

 

 

yea i also heard rsr ex mag is the quietest. that what i might get that

 

is RSR str8 muffler for integra?? i know its drifferent by year and model.


edit: what i heard was 94-97 is str8, and 98-01 looped design.

yea, i'm planning to get the RS*R ex-mag for my gsr when i have the cash to buy it..RS*R Ex-mag is not loud but louder than the stock.

 

Its quieter than a stock muffler with rusted holes. Trust me. I currently have the rsr exmag and it a little bit louder than stock. By louder i mean deeper tone. My CAI is louder than the rsr. Maybe because I'm its closer? Anyway, you won't be able to hear the exhaust once you hit vtec.
In addition, one time at band camp, I floored it until the next block. I was under 40 mph before I stop. There was a cop but he didn't do anything because he didn't see me accelerate. The cop just glance at me and went on his way. Now, if I had a different muffler, I would have definately recieve a ticket eventhough he didn't see me.

CLIFF NOTES: I have the rsr exmag. It is quiet. (96 gsr)

 

get a stock type r axleback and some piping fabbed up

 

I've had the following...

ITR catback -VERY QUIET
Greddy SP catback -Felt like stock with throaty tone. Greddy piping BLOWS
Trust Catback -Same as Greddy SP system
Apexi N1 catback -Feels and sounds great. A little too loud in Vtec and while going up hill! Maybe too loud for your taste. I personally liked this catback the most!
Greddy Evo catback -throatier tone than the greddy/trust sp.. BIG *** muffler tip asking to get pulled over

From over the years of browsing the integra forums, people have said the rsr ex-mag, and the apexi world sport cat back systems sound, look, and feel the best if your looking for the quiet aftermarket exhaust system.

chill dude, SEARCH a little bit and youd find out everything you want to know.

TO break it down for you,

Chambered exhausts will be quiet. Examples of these are...

STOCK
RS*R Exmag
Apexi WS
etc

Straight through exhaust are loud (general statement)
Apexi 1
Greddy sp2/evo2
etc.

I had the Greddy SP2 and i thought it was way to loud for me so i went back to stock until i can find a good deal on either the WS or the RS*R

Teamintegra.net has a great write up of probably 40 exhausts with pictures and sound clips. Its called like exhaust buying guide or something. Search over there in the articles...

stock is the quitest, next would be chambered exhaust like greedy sp's, apexi ws, rsr exmag's....etc, you can also get a custom one done. im enjoying my stocker for now.!

 

used maybe. 500 is pretty much the best ive seen for new.
