Wasn't he the one (ages ago. long *** time ago) who claimed that he ran 14.2 with a GSR with just I/H/E, 14inch rims on 22psi, gutted, and launched at 6k rpm????

Was that legit?

Thats right I remember that post. He said 14.2 with slicks and what he called "filter on a stick". I remember watching the video ... he was breaking off some domestic.

I am still here charlie. Any time you want it baby, just let me know. Ran a 14.0 with type r muffler and a custom intake on slicks. NEVER damaged my car due to crower valve train etc. I would know better than that. The car is runnin a lot harder now so your 13.9 would be a good race for me.
I am not goin to attend any events but a test and tune night I shall be there.

I dont know when I'll be down by e-town next.
i'm considering stripping out the car to get it from 2580 to maybe 2230 or even less to see if I can get deeper into the 13's, all on Street tires.

But to race you, I'll keep everything in, and wont strip anything out....

 

Yes considering the fact you got a couple of grand worth of work compared to my $600 that invested in only the suspension. You on street tires and me on slicks would be fair, although technically your car is still faster because of your mph but who knows. You goin to the even saturday?

How is your MPH?
I came in at 97.1 MPH, and a 2.21 60' when I did that 13.9

nope, I cant be there on saturday. Got a funeral to go to in the morning, and a date after 5pm

My highest mph has been 96 but I havent' been to the track with my car in a while. I have been helping friends go faster and it has been talking a lot of my time building motors for people. I dont even have time to change the oil on my car. But either way just let me know on the im when you are down.
