I guess I'm gonna put my car in the paper this week and sell it for $2000 and buy a shitty *** jeep but thanx again guys

now now now...don't get all butt hurt there buddy. You showed us your car and we gave out opinions.....like I said in my first post "if it is your thing more power to ya" not every one is gonna like your car. Most people in this world hate and make fun of our hondas....but who cares....its your car and if you like it rock it. Your just goin through the initial stage of first gettin a honda and you are a ricer.....everyone goes through it....shiiit befoer I started hangin out on HT I almost picked up a set of altezzas for my rex.....it was a riced out pile when I got it...but look at her now



I love my car and I am sure plenty of people on here don't....just do your thing and do what you like to your car.

it not that bad. the hood scoop is overboard though. If you ditched the scoop, your car would look much nicer IMO. Don't let these guys make you feel bad bout your rex. Mine is pretty much the same (minus hood scoop, shaved handles), and it's not clean but looks good anyway because it's still a rex.

ya thanx guys I should have said that the *** that had it before me had the hood scoop on and the paint plus the doors shaved soo none of the body is my fault... I just do all engine work... thanx tho for being cool I know my car isn't jdm crazy right hand drive I want the same thing you guys want tho... something that looks super stock nice clean jdm rhd and is quick.

I'll fix the body don't worry changes will be made... on the body and turbo will be added this just gives me more of a drive to do it thanx guys sorry about the over drastic drama... just felt kinda bad...

o and my car isn't even close to how I want it... I still have alot to go especially with the body and I knew that before this post...

I threw up a lil in my mouth when you said that. Loose the hood scoop, clean that engine bay, and flat black the whole car.

 

i like everything -- minus the scoop and that front end damage.

Seriously, 5 years when the JDM fad has run its course, JDM will be considered just as ricer as what you've got rockin'. Flat black is ghetto, and JDM is overpriced and overrated. Having said that I am rocking the B16 Killa JDM SOHC ZC VTEC in my '91 CRX Si. for the new s300

There are a few things that you should know about Honda Tech. First thing is that no matter what you drive. Wheather its a riced out Fast and The Furious type car or a Super Mad Tyte JDM car you are still going to get flamed. There are just too many trolls, dicks, and unintelligent people online on this website. So take all critisisim with a grain of salt. It doesnt matter what they like or dont like because they dont have to drive the car. If you are fine with it then thats cool.

Its understandable to feel bad. I remember when I first posted my blue CRX on HT and when I had my 17" rims on it. I thought they matched the car nicely and it looked clean. I got flamed into next week with comments of "Man couldnt you find larger wheels?" or "White rims are so 1999." (pics were posted in 01) etc etc. It made me feel like **** because I took so much time and effort into my car to make it look nice the way that I wanted it and it seemed that everyone hated it. But then after staying on HT I learned that a lot of members are idiots and if they dont like my car they can screw off.

Its good to hear that you are working on making the car your own. From your post you stated that the body modifications were done by the previous owner. Its good that you are going to take what he did and improve on his 'mistakes' and make it something that you want it to be.

My oppinion on your car is that its alright. I like the colour of the car alot. It looks really nice. Personally here are the things I would do. I would get the Wings West RS Series side skirts for your bodykit, since you are missing those. When you get those it will fill in the place where your side marker is. I would also either get a CF hood or just a new hood and paint it to match the car.

Essentially you have a new hood, and side skirts. Thats not a big deal. Everything else looks fine on the car. The body (except for the damage to the corner) is in good shape with no rust. The paint seems to be in decent shape. The rims look fine on the car. All in all I think your car is nice. Especially with the new motor.

Don't let HT get you down. I read all the opinions before I looked at the pics and was expecting to see alot worse.

I like the wheels and the color. I would definately remove the scoop, get skirts to match the bumpers, trash the sidemarkers, fix the front grill, trash the corner lights and definately (if nothing else) work on that interior and engine bay.

It looks like a good start to me. I guess the main thing is make it haw you like it not everyone else. If you put it together and like how it sits cosmetically, then disregard everyone elses opinion.
I like how mine sits, its not JDM, IMO its clean. Just go with what you like. Everyone respects a well built car.
