Is it safe to run Skunk2 stage 1's on a stock B16a head on a stock B18a block? I mean, without any cam gear adjusting and set to stock? anyone running this setup? i've heard both yes and no.

 

also, if i'm only running stock b16a/b18a lsvtec compression, would these cams even benefit me? would i be better off with GSR's or CTR/ITR's?

 

i just looked up the specs on CTR cams and the skunk2 stg. 1's. The skunk2 stg. 1's are larger, which would leave me to believe that they will hit LS pistons, because everyone says CTR's are the biggest on LS pistons and that's pushing it.
