Front Passenger side wheel problem
I was foolin around with my car today and i was backin up and dropped the clutch, and went to my friends house then came back outside to my car. When I started to back up I herd sort of a squeeling sound coming from my right passenger side wheel in the front. I mostly notice it when Im backing up, and I also herd a like a high pitch clattering noise kinda like a little bells, not sure how else to describe it. I stuck my arm up there and jiggled the tie rod and some other parts in there to see if anything snapped or came loose but everything felt sturdy. Any idea's on what it could be?
You could possibly be riding on the brake pad wear sensor tabs. There's also a possibility you lodged a stone between the Brake Rotor and the Brake Rotor Dust Shield.
If you've a clicking noise while turning, most likely you've a CV joint issue.
...a place to start, anyway

You think I should just take off the brake pads, and rotors and see if anything is wrong there, but it kinda does sound like the brake pad is shot. Ill probobly do it tomorow so I can actually see
if its clicking while turning i suggest you get those CV joints fixed, when i first got my 5th gen.. it had that problem and i just ignored it, little did i know that the further you drive it like that to more chances you can expletive your tires up and all kinds of ****, and the clicking noise only gets louder and you look like a *** when u turn around corners..
heres a question, is the 5 posts in 24 hours rule apply to everyone, and why the hell am i still on a trial

I may crowd the 5 posts/hr rule sometimes, basically I run off at the mouth with background info so much, that I think they just throw up their arms.
True, like any Forum you're gonna run into Punctuation ****'s and such, But basically it's a good bunch in here. Hey, like real life! right?
Have fun, and don't fixate on whats going on off to the left.

Casmello:
Be aware that although there may still appear usable friction materiel on the brake pad, the wear sensor tab (usually a brass or soft steel attached clip) will start touching the brake rotor when the shoe (Pad) wears to a pre-determined thickness.
How it works?
the tab skates across the rotor much like Mrs Smiths Chalk in Middle School. And it makes noise using the same principles as that chalk going across that same *&^%( blackboard! It sets up one God-Awful high pitched vibration.

IMO (I know I'm gonna take some heat for this) all brake pads are the same. Some may wear faster than others and the Thermaquiets do make a difference on brake squeal, but I've never felt a difference in braking power between pads. Hence I buy the cheapest pads I can get. Its so easy and cheap to change them I say screw it. Calipers and rotors effect your braking power, pads don't make much of a difference. Then you got your asbestos/non-asbestos pads but whatever don't breath the **** in and the dust isn't a problem.
Your call but I've never been convinced a $20 set of pads last twice as long as a $10 set. Make sure you buy a packet of high temp brake grease from the counter too, squeeze a little on each caliper pin/bolt. It'll save you a headache if it locks up and wears unevenly!

If this is your daily driver, and you do only intermittant "Wild *******" on the highway, any commercially available brake pad manufacturer set will do. As long as you stay with a Ceramic Pad.
If you want to go a little more "up town", either Brembo, Hawk, Quick-Stop, etc.
The web is repleat with vendors.
Try a "GOOGLE!!" search, and all manner of choices will pop up.

Don't know what they got in NJ but you know. Napa, Autozone, Parts America, CarQuest, any place like that. Long as the pads aren't gonna fall apart and you'd trust your life to it.
