Hello guys;
I eared that the best oil for S2k engines is semi sintetic and not full sintetic is somebody can confirm this?

As far as turbo'd motors I don't know, but most owners run full-syn in their (N/A) cars. I am planning to switch to AMSOIL once the boost comes on, but that's a full-syn also.

Here's my .02

In choosing the "best" oil...you need to choose a good quality oil, regardless of if it is synthetic or not. Some oils contain high ash content, and that is not good for an engine. So that is one factor to read into. Flash point, pour point, etc. are also things people who are serious about their oil dive into.

I personally run Amsoil in my S2k and nothing less. I spent good money on the car, so I treat it's heart with good oil.
