Intermittent no start
Daughter has a '90 Accord EX auto bone stock. This is an intermittent problem: When attempting to start. the "S" indicator light starts flashing & the motor will crank and not start. It might take minutes or have to walk away and come back later, but eventually it has always started. After it starts, with this problem(which is intermittent), sometimes the "S" light keeps flashing & the car seems to be in limp mode--won't go any faster than 5 mph in forward gear. Does this sound like anything that's happened to anybody before?
Thanks,
Mike
Does it happen only with the transmission in a certain mode (normal or sport) or does it happen regardless of the tranny setting?
Check the fuel pump fuse and also the main relay. If the problem only happens on sunny and/or hot days it's likely the relay, b/c I believe heat can temporarily affect the soldered contact points on the relay.
Hope this helps.

intermittant starting can be caused by a faulty ignition control module also...i had the same problems, would crank one min, try again 2min later and it would start....
