I got this information from the ASE certified guy... and that was a couple of months ago... and only now... I got to remember to call a honda dealership.
I have a 97 accord EX.... and... for some reason that I don't remember.... some of the accords, 97 and I think prior to that year came with a "extended warranty"... and that means... a free tune up, one for the 75000 miles and other for 150000 miles...
Since I had 111k on mine, decided to check that out.. unfortunately... my car was not eligeble because of a car accident years ago when it got totaled.
If you own a 5th generation accord, try that... and see if you can get a tune up by giving your name (if first owner) or the VIN number to see if you are eligeble.
Good luck to all members who will try it!!!

How about minor paint chipping from a little guard rail accident? Would I still apply for such deals. The title is still clean.

...lol.. no dude... my car was totaled.. it was a bad accident, and didn't go back to roads for a few months.... so... that means... your car could be eligeble.
If you have more than 150k miles, you are not eligeble.
If you have less than 150k miles, but has done this "free tune up" 2 times already, you are not eligeble.
If you had a "totaled" car with a rebuilt title (..my case...), you are not eligeble.

It's an emission warranty extension. The emission system is covered for 150,000 miles or 14 years.
