Default Have a 92 hb cx, and a 95 gsr - Want to swap em...what do I need

I have a 92 cx all stock, and a 95 gsr with a b18c jdm engine and ls/vtec tranny. The car is crashed, and I'm using it to convert my hb to a gsr pretty much. I want the whole drive train, and the dash cluster, the seats, etc etc.

What do I need to make this happen. The engine was a swap into an LS integra, and it comes with obd2 ecu?? I'm new to this (hence the un)...

So why does the GS-R have a JDM SIR-G motor?

Not sure. That's also something I'm concerned about. I asked if it's cool to match an LS tranny with a JDM gsr b18c Vtec engine, and he said "yeah". The tranny has WAY more miles too, so I'm thinking I should get another tranny.

How much would the appropriate tranny for this engine run me?

leave the mechanic work to people that are mechanicly enclined. It shouldnt cost you that much. maybe 300 to 450 depending on shop rates.

Oh yea. I don't plan on doing anything myself.

THis is my goal:

Use any parts I can off the integra, and swap em into my hatch. This includes the interior, the dash, the center console if possible, the Engine of course, tranny (still debating), etc etc.

I want a gsr hatch, hatch on the outside (sleeper) and a gsr on the inside.

I just want to know what parts I need to make this happen (i.e., motor mounts, shift linkage stuff, axles - what size etc, special wiring, etc).

The integra is crashed, so I don't know how I'm going to go about this. I WANT to take it to a shop, I guess I can always have the teg towed.

Anygood shops out there, that KNOW what they're doing in regards to swaps?

Preferably one close to the USC, West La area. I've heard of Qwiken motorsports, but the OC is a bit of a far tow I think.

Thanks to all who've been patient with this damn Noob

I highly reccomend you research, and get all of the info possible on your own. If you go online, and look into sites such as http://www.hasport.com, or just go to search here in h.t., and type in swap 92 hatch, I am sure that you will find what you need. Do it yourself, it is more fun that way... ,
.....besides, you live in Cali, I am sure that you can find more than enough info out there on the street about what you are trying to do.. and good luck

true. I've done some research already. That's why I know about the motor mounts, shift linkage, vtec wiring/ecu.
It is fun, but tedious and time consuming.

I just wish there was a page that listed all the necessary items to do a clean swap. Like,

GSR b18c into a 92 - 95 eg
TYpe R b18c5 into a 92 - 95 eg

etc etc... I'll research. But I know I'm gonna come back and bug you guys..

There are. Just gotta search. People ask these questions so often, that it bugs. Just go to search and type away. You'll spend hours and hours learning from other people's experiences. That's how I learned most of what I know.

People ask so much, there should be a sticky with all the links related to this topic. Or perhaps a Grandmaster here should make a write up..

Thanks do. I don't mean to bug...just expediate the process. Hard to spend hours on the internet when you're a full time worker and a full time student.

C'mon man, I am in the NAVY full time, and a part time ummmm, something, but all it takes is like 1 hr a day, and you will find all you need. Look at http://www.jdmcivic.com, or http://www.speedoptions.com
You will find what you need, just take your time, and be patient, not persistent....
