6th gen sides on 5th gen civic?
has anybody put 6th gen civic stock sides/rockers on a 5th gen civic (hatch) does it all bolt up? would front lip bolt up too? if so which year civic? 2door? or hatch?
im interested in know also. Ive seen it done, but i dont know if they bolt right on.
its been done a lot of times.. like they say.. u cut a bout 2-3 in ches off the front of the sideskirt.. and it just goes on..... its not hard at all to put on.. and they look really nice.. like OEM with a twist.. its clean and durable(not like fiberglass).. and its a good investment if u have a EG... its a A PLUS.... and its not hard... u can find a set at the juink yard in good conditiong for like 100 or so..
I have a set of 6th gen sides waiting for me to find the time to get them painted to match my 5th gen sedan (no cutting required I beleive). If anybody wants them, they can swing by SF Bay Area and pick them up for $100. I don't know when I'm going to find the time to paint them really
i did it to mine and havent takin a pics yet. I'll probably take some this weekend. you just have to cut the front like 2 inches and then you know the square holes that the white clips go into, those need to be redrilled so the 6th gen ones would clip in. or you can just screw it from the botom with self tappin screws
