Default security system

I had a Code Alarm/Audiovox security system with remote start and keyless entry installed about 10 months ago on my 2000 Accord lx 2 dr. at circuit city. I have had no problems with this system until about a week ago. I had left the car sitting for about two weeks (while I was away at school) and one day my dad walked outside and the alarm was going off. After stopping the alarm my dad found that the battery was dead, he then charged it and I have had no problems with the battery. However the remote start system is not working correctly now, at times it will work normally, but most of the time when I try to start the car remotely the electrical system will come on, then the engine will make about 1/2 turn and then stop and the alarm will begin to go off. I plan to call circuit city about the problem, but I was just curious if anyone else has had similar problems. Thanks.

I think you're correct in your commitment to take it back to CC. I don't believe it has anything to do with a vehicle condition. There are parasitic electrical draws from the battery (ECM/TCM and Radio Memory) but these are constant and would not have triggered the alarm.
I suspect a wiring / installation problem, there's no reason why the starter would stop cranking unless the Remote Start signaled it to do so, or a loose connection.
