i've narrowed down where the sounds are coming from, but i'm bamboozled on how to fix them.

-the passenger side headliner right above the sun visor makes a buzzing noise. it is not caused by the visor itself and it goes away when i push up on the headliner.

-the driver's chair makes a loud squeaky noise when i go over bumps. it's not the 4 mounting bolts or the seatbelt. i can reproduce the sound when i bounce on the seat cushion but not when i shake the seat back and forth.

 

anybody?
is the headliner hard to remove?

 

Have you tried opening the mirror on the visor? My GSR used to rattle like a bitch there. As for the drivers seat, the springs inside might be hitting one of the cross bar supports. Yank the seat and check out the bottom.

 

i was planning on removing the seat today.

the buzz has nothing to do with the visor (or it would be on the side of the road already). the buzzing goes away when i push up on the headliner in a particular spot. the spot being that little "alcove" the visor sits in.

 

Yeh, I had the buzz on the drivers side headliner. I rolled up a small piece of paper and squished it between the headliner and the roof. Low tech, but no more annoying buzz.

 

Get used to it dude. It's a Honda. Every Honda that I have owned rattles constantly. There is always something. Once you fix one thing, something else will start. Just turn you music up and everything will go away.
