Can I use a VAFC2 in a non-vtec vehicle?

Good question. What would the vafc think if the vtec wires were not connected?

Yes you can, and I beleive you can have double the amoint of controllable points. I hear this a while back, so I may be wrong.

I see what your saying - you can set the vtec engagement pretty low so make the vafc think its in vtec and adjust the hi cam map accordingly but really the motor is not in vtec. Do i make sense?
