Are the Type R's front Upper Control Arms the same as the GSR's?
A while back I've replaced my front left upper control arm along with the spindle due to an accident, (BTW, my car was lowered back then) . everything seemed fine , but as soon as I put my stock springs back on after about a month, it made a wierd noise every time I rebound from a bump ie. speed bump. The noise is coming from one of the coils from the spring is rubbing on the knuckle (left front). Well anyways. when its on a lift, I measured the left upper control arm up to the top right under the front upper strut bar and it appears that the left is lower than the right? So i'm wondering if Acura gave me the wrong Upper control arm. Acura is stumped because they dont' know what it is. Its been there for 3 days and they just gave up, no clue. So are the GSR's the same as the Type Rs??
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

any suggestions on what could be done, or checked out? The Knuckle and A arm are new, so it shouldn't be bent. Where else could i look? FYI ( i ran into a curb a while back)

maybe i frased it wrong. I hit the curb and then replaced the spindle (knuckle) and a- arm. It didn't rub with the lowering springs in , but with the stock springs. it rubs now.
