Default crx engine swap question

i know this is a noob question but what kind of engines do people usually swap in their crx? i've looked at japanesedomesticmotor.com and have read things on the site about b16a1. it seems pretty cheap. would you guys say its a common swap and is fairly reliable?

b16a1 are newer style the motor will work but the tranny wont you need a wholw b16a swap straight forward swap if you are mechanically inlcined in any way you will need motor mount kit I suggest PFI mounts http://www.pfispeed.com and a shift linkage if you cant have one of those made locally then you will need to order one from hasport

Default Re: crx engine swap question (kevin_)

probably the most common swap on here, is probably the b16, it seems like most people are running that, but also there are a lot of people with the dohc zc motors, It mainly depends on how much money you have to spend, i think most people with the b16s say to have about 2000 to spend for everything, Id just go with what you can afford tho.
