Default Good experiences with fancy transmission fluid?

There's a guy I know with an evo that swears by synchromesh and BG. He claims the car shifts better. Has anyone had good experiences using this kind of stuff in a honda?

My buddys B16 swapped teg ground most gears at a high rpm and synchromesh cured it for 6 months.

not sure about "fancy" trans fluids such as the purple stuff or whatever..but what I have tried out are:
-Redline MTL (i think its MTL)
-GM Synchromesh
-Honda MTF

Personally, the Redline stuff felt good when I first put it in, but I didnt like how it felt after it warmed up..especially on hot days, it made my trans feel "notchy". The honda stuff and the gm synchromesh work really well. Shifts real smooth like how its supposed to.
