I have a 1992 civic vx hatch.

it has a d15 in it

I replaced the plugs/fuel filter, and I'm pretty sure everything else is stock (Bought the car used with about 158 k on it)

But recently when the car isn't warmed up it will misfire like crazy, Like I can't even drive the car because it is sputtering so badly.

The wierd thing is, its only when there is a load on the engine. Like I can "dry rev" the engine if I EASE on the throttle, like no more than 20% and it will go to redline fine. But when I punch it (or go above like 20% throttle) it will sputter like crazy, kinda sounds like a harley, or a badly misfiring hondUh lol.

What should I look into? I don't want to go replace everything in the ignition system and fuel system, because it is my beater and I'm broke.

Ohh, and this all goes away when it is FULLY warmed up. As it's getting warmer, I will be able to give it more gas without it bogging, but when it's fully warm I can floor it and it won't sputter/bog.

But If I really can't figure it out, I guess I'll just buy a b16 hahahah

This is what happened in my Accord, and this is what fixed it.

i say b16 swap will fix it lol
