That's all in the driving right there though. He seems to be new to the game so, the 20's will be optimum for him at stock power level and a lil' above.

Hi senate33:
Are you Allmotor.
Are you Turbo.
What is your HP.
Are you a full race car.
Are you a street car.
Are you wheelie bar.
Are you going to be on nitrous all the time or some times, because that will change your slick sizes.
This is info that we all need to know to help you out on what sizes slicks you need.
Good Luck senate33 and be SAFE in the 2005-06 racing season.

i dont think that would be a good idea, when you put a wide slick on a skinny wheel it kinda make the slick "bubble" and you would have a small contact area...
with a wider wheel it will "flaten" the slick out and give you a better contact area.
id recomend some lenso's at least... maybe if your budget allows, weld or bogart wheels.

Good Advice. ^^^^
Although I only run M&H slicks, M&H doesn't make a 20" slick. I am still recommending the M/T 20x8's to you at least until you get the 100 shot than move up to 22's or maybe even 23's.

M&H doesn't make a 22x8x15. Having shorter tires will improve acceleration it's basically changing your gear ratio.

Hit the nail on the head.
I ran these on my B16 crx with just a header, and managed a 13.7 @ 98mph. Perfect fit for the hp I had. I also have 22's but they killed my traps. 20's are the way to go.

Thanks. I speak from personal experience and yet people still question me/ Overlook my advice. Maybe they are more concerned w/ the appearance than the performance

I would recommend a 22x8x13 or even a 22x8x15, either MT or MH.
