Hey guys im interested in doing some road track racing, but i dont even think theres a track close to me im in Newark Delaware

Summit Point, West Virginia; VIR, Virginia/North Carolina; BeaveRun, Pittsburgh PA just to name a few. Also Watkins Glen and Lime Rock up in New York. I wouldn't all any of those CLOSE, but none are super far away. I'd imagine Summit is the closest, and is probably 2 1/2-3 hours from you. BeaveRun would be next closest, if not closer.

Actually-ADD Pocono to the list as that is probably the closest to you. A number of folks go there from both De and Philly. SCCA, NASA, EMRA and PDA have track events at Pocno using any of several different layouts. I tow out there and have a ball. Then again BeaveRun is my home track-literally in the back yard

You're right, I totally forgot about Pocono.

 

Pocono is great cause it's close but the surface kinda sucks and the facilities do to. However if you need/want to get seat time it's a great place to go. The next closest from DE would be Summit Point.
