Default 98 ej6 st sway bars f/r

hi, i have a question. im new here and sorry if this topic has been talked about before but i search and found nothing regarding eks and st sways. my question is if any one on here had experience with the suspension techniques front and rear sway bar set for the ek chassis. i have a 98 dx hatchback and it doesnt seem to have the oem front bar. just wondering if anyone has the same situation. i want to know if i need to drill any holes in order to be able to put the bars in or do i need entirely different lower control arms? any input is appreciated. and sorry for the long msg. thanks in advance. late.

thanks man that really helped. info much appreciated.

u noticed that the sway bar set for the EKs without oe front sways have both the same sized (thickness) sway bars for the front and back. isnt that kinda weird? like it will cancel each other out rite? imjust confused, idont wanna buy something that is pointless. please if someone has used this item let me kno how it is. any good? thanks.

yeah that is a little wierd but its the same way with the EG. im not sure the reasoning but suspension techniques makes them as a "finely tuned set" and believe me your car will handle much better after you get them. I searched around a lot about sway bars before i bought mine and bar thickness is a big contreversy so i dunno. The ST bars seem to be the cheapest and easily way for us non-oem sway bar guys so thats why I went with them.

by the way check out jegs if you decide to go with the ST bars they have the whole set for like $250 shipped

thanks guys for your responses its been most helpful. usually when i read these forums or threads it seems to have many weird, mean ********* that argue about things all the time. but you two have proved me wrong. you guys (dpetro1 and gambit) are really nice ppl.

DPETRO1- thanks for being the first to answer so i dont have to wait here for responses for a long time. you had some good educating info and thanks for the link.

gambit- thanks man for the assitance. and thanks for being here to help but i think the article you wrote was very enlightening and taught me alot its clear enough. thanks for writing it. but for sure if i have question i will most definatly ask.

thanks again guys i will most def get some of these sway bars.

p.s. do you guys like work for ST or something? haha cuz you guys just talked me into buying that ****. good salesman if you were. haha thanks late.
