i just searched, and from what i can tell, no one has been able to install dc5 brembos and dc5 rotor on the dc2 yet. is it impossible? or is it just so difficult as to not make it worthwhile?

With good pads and brake fluid, the stock brake system can handle HEAVY track abuse. Let's not forget that the afforementioned setup, was used by Realtime Racing to win a championship.
It sounds like you're just going for bling. If that's the case, just get the Brembo Gran Turismo brake kit.

Sounds to me like a kid who has no concept of "savings" and will end up leeching off of society when he gets to retirement and realizes he forgot to save anything.

yeah i saw that link of kengs, the price is ridiculous, i'm on a tight budget
reason i'm asking is i can get the brembos for less than $600, which i'm sure is a lot less than the spoon or the gt kit. seems like no one on ht has done this conversion before

You be the first and let us know.
But if you can't tell the difference I don't see why this would be a wise way to spend your money. To each his own I guess.
