im installin a viper 791xv and wondering where to put the siren. my car is a 96 hatch. there is a huge open spot that would be easy to put but is very visible. down below on the frame near the fuel filter. but under the airbox is a nice conciled place, but i cant get a drill in the spot because the tranny and mount are in the way. could i just put it in that open spot or try somehow and get it underneath the air box???

Take off a front wheel, then take out the inner fender guard. Mount it inside the fender.

Have you thought about putting it in the interior or possibly having two sirens?

i took my front bumper off and installed the siren on the fender support underneath the bumper, do all the wiring (hidden) and youll never see the alarm there at all

 

Top middle of the firewall, to the right of the fuel filter; VIN should be stamped there.

actually fender well does not look promising. i found that spot where the fender frame mounts the the bumper or whatever. that looks better.
