Default Searched to no avail: B16A question

Saw a really cheap B16A block, head, intake, exhaust manifold, with harness really cheap with low kilos but it was automatic (originally). As I understand it, that wouldn't matter if I wanted to mate it with an MT mission. Can anybody confirm? What about the harness? Would I not need a harness from an MT model? Many thanks in advance.

why dont you use your stock harness? and all you'd have to do is swap the pressure plate for a flywheel to get it to bolt to a manual tranny

Swap the pressure plate for a flywheel: that's what I thought. I figured that was all I needed to do, although I was a bit skeptical. Just wanted to be sure.

I never considered using the stock harness though, because my car is a 92 Canadian CX hatch with a D15B7 engine, and I am not sure if I could've used it. I could also buy a used harness I guess.

Just that I the engine is 100 dollars with 100,000 kilos on a new timing belt changed at 90,000 and it looks so clean still (the engine, valve cover, etc.)

What would you recommend?

you just need to swap out the flexplate and bolts for a flywheel and flywheel bolts. as for the harness you your stock harness and run the necessary wires. what year engine is it? also get the according ecu for it too or chip your own

haha flexplate NOT pressure plate. damn its a been a long week at work (honda dealer). my bad. yea use your stock harness since all 92s came wire for vtec so wiring the swap shouldnt be too bad. and if u can get the p30 (i think it is) ecu to got with it or a p28 with some programming will work too

Thanks for the great information. I figured from prior research that I could get that engine, but I couldn't remember for sure and after searching for it, I couldn't find any info. thanks tons for your help.

I was planning to get a p30 ecu, as well as maybe a dc2 mission (or just regular eg6) and think that would complete it. the engine has distributor, in mani, eki mani, alternator and all hoses and injectors and whatnot. so aside from the harness situation and clutch/flywheel that should be it?

If there is any other advice you guys could give, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all your help.
