Posts: 2 Honda booster to master adj.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 92 Accord EX with some brake problems. It started out as a simply master cylinder replacment. Then i found a small vacuum leak in the booster. I replaced both but couldn't get any clearance between the booster rod and the master cylinder piston, the piston was always being pushed in about .040. I bought a new master from Auto Zone and found that the new master is about 1/4 shorter, so now i have plenty of adj. Problem is i don't have the Honda tool to set up the booster rod length. In the book it looks like they want .016 between the booster rod and the master cylinder. Anyone knows if that is correct?
Thanks
