All those websites that sell H22 engines and various other engines, where do they get the engiens from? If they get them from cars themselves, exactly what do they do with these cars? My car was recently totalled , but the engine survived . I am looking for a cheap 4th gen prelude body (94-96 preferably), and i am wonderin if these sites sell the cars they get their engines from, and if so, where can i get one? I am in the AZ/CA area if there is a place around here

most of them are getting just the motors or the whole front clip of the car from japan. most of the engines you see for sale on websites are JDM motors, not motors pulled from US cars.

as for a place around AZ, i dont know where you'd find something like that but just curious....where you at in AZ?

JDM and some USDM engines.

 

I knoe of a 92 s that needs a little body work, that would be a good project car... I think they want something like 2250 or so... I live in wisconsin so-oh and it has 179k original miles, it's an si and needs a rebuild...

 

Thanx guys, but I am looking for teh body of a prelude that might have had the engine removed, because like my original post said, i still have my entire engine in tact.

$2000 something isnt a bad price to pay even if you do yank the motor out.

 

Yea, i found a guy that is sellin for 2000, but it is a 92 and i am really not lookin for anything older than 94. I have an Si engine, but no more car. So yea. Maybe we can meet some time when i get my new car, what year and model do you have?
