Default Question about Strut install on 01 Civic LX.

I need some advice on what to watch out for on the 01 civic for replacing the struts. The car isnt mine, its my stepfathers and his factory dampeners are toast. I was looking around on the net and saw that Koni makes inserts that require modification to teh factory strut body but I dont think that I want to go this route if possible. I saw Tokico makes a replacement but there isnt much info on them. Do they make a bolt in aftermarket strut? Or should I just go with some OEM stuff. The car isnt going to be lowered but I figured aftermarket struts are usually as cheap as OEM ones.

Any links to where to find a good deal would be appreciated as well. Thank you

basically anything other than konis are strut replacement, and yes, they are cheaper. for close to OEM quality, i recommend the tokico blues or KYB Gr-2
