Default Can I borrow somone's CG Lock at SP this weekend?

Like the topic says, I won't have my autopower bar installed in time to use my harness in my STi. I'm running in HPDE 3.

Please....

I won't be there but you're welcome to borrow mine. Bad thing is you'd have to drive down to DC to pick it up from me.

Why don't you use a poor mans seat belt lock?

What do you mean Zephyr?

Do you mean put the seat back and try to lock it then put the seat up? I can't do that b/c my seat is all the way back to begin with tight against the stupid harness bar i have in there for a Camera mount. Have an idea for me?

BTW Good Luck this weekend.

CG-Loc's are just glorified baby seat locking clips.

You can get these at any Burlington Coat Factory in the Baby Depot section of the store. It's like $3.00

Your welcome.

thanks for the idea. I've been wanting a CG lock for awhile, but can't justify the price. I'll just get one of these instead.

The thing I don't like about the CG Lock is that it looks like it chafes the seatbelt worse than RJ's right hand chafes on a(nother) lonely Saturday night. The baby-seat locking clips look like they won't do that.

??

Have you used one? Held one?

Are you talking about the knurled part?

I drive around all day with one...no chafy for me. I think they're pretty cool. Very easy to adjust, although 3 bucks is hard to beat.

That's what I use. Mine was free tho (it came with my son's car seat but isn't used when you have a car with the LATCH system)

I used it for the first time at a track day a few months ago. I liked it!
