yo my friend has a 00 si i/h/e what trans with a diff will make him a little quicker ? or just better gearing , he wants a diff in it tho

 

I have the JDM B16 Tranny with LSD in it. Its short dude. At 80mpg im sittin just over 4000rpms. But you will rake through those gears quickly with that short of gearing. I kind of like it, just qish I had a 6th gear.

 

either a b16 with a quaife or maybe a jdm itr with a 4.7 final drive. or he could get an ats 4.9 fd.

Isnt the B16 tranny one of the best/shortest geared already. I suppose you could get a higher final drive if you wanted.

To be honest I would leave the gearing alone if its still a DD.
