90/91 gauge cluster in 88/89 car...problem with hatch/door ajar light.
I've got an 89 LX. I put a '90 LX gauge cluster in it.
The problem is that when the door ajar light goes comes on, the trunk light partially lights up also.
And vice versa!
I've tried two different gauge clusters so far and I've got the exact same problem on each.
Anybody have any tips? I've checked the wiring over and over and it's as good as gold.
