Which O2 sensor for obd1 conversion?
so I converted my si wiring harness to obd1 and I was wondering whether I use the one wire o2 sensor from my si harness or do I use the 4 wire o2 from my obd1 wiring harness?
thanx alot for any help!

I wonder if you could use the CX, its 1-wire
. but no stick with the 4-wire o2 sensor found in 92-95 Honda's. I think you can use jsut about any.

and you use the 4 wire from the obd1 harness because im pretty sure the obd1 ecu isnt going to send a signal to your one wire obd0 02 sensor....itll send the signal to the 4 wire...and no 02 will be there so you will be throwing code 41 all day..and running a little extra rich
Well the ecu doesn't really send the signal, rather it recieves the voltage, but anyway... With the 1-wire sensor, the ecu will cry about an O2 heater malfunction. That's the only purpose of the 4 wire sensor, to add the header.
You can use a single wire sensor with the OBD1 computer (like the CX) by chipping the ecu, but then you have an unheated sensor really far from the motor, and it will get clogged and die in no time.
