ok i know some of ya remember the heated thread caused by me asking if modifying a auto... heres my car if ya dont remember

well no more discussion.. Its been about 1 1/2 weeks since i started the swap.. found a reputable mechanic that got me all my parts all i needed was the transmission, hasport mount, and shifter ****.. Parts cost me about $550 including clutch and flywheel. The guy got a good discount on a drag clutch so I let him buy it for me... Overall the whole swap costed me about $1350, including labor. Not too bad for a gsr transmission with 35k on it.. here are some picz..

heres how she looked about 2 weeks ago

the gsr transmission sittin in my backseat

Now 10/13/05

Hasport Auto to Manual Mount

just the front... next is painted valve cover and a THOROUGH cleaning of that bay lol... It's been raining like crazy in ny for over a week

Overall it wasnt a hard process if you know someone that knows what they're doing and get the parts easily.. I recommend anyone who thinks about doing it to make sure to know what you're getting into.. It took about 4 days to get all parts. I got kinda lucky since the guy worked in a tranmission shop so he basically had parts laying around.. Also it helped he had a turbo jdm front 95 gsr..
wells thats that... Thanks to anyone who ever answered any questions.. Love the manual... idk how i drove an auto for almost a year lol...

Damn 1350 is not bad seeing how a itr tranny cost more than that. Swap that tan interior next .

Congrats on the swap. Just like me, I'm sure you love to drive your car now. It's so much more fun/faster, right? I wish I had the HASport mounts available when I did mine.

You got your conversion done for a damn good price. $1350 is actually less than what I spend, PLUS you had it done by a mechanic. Good price hunting, y0.

Perhaps because of the PNRD32L lights on the cluster? I never changed mine when I did my swap. Couldn't justify spending a couple hundred for just having no lights there. I simply removed the bulbs.
