i have an 89crx si with a gsr swap. the people that did my swap were complete ******** and retarted. so after about 1000 and many hours of my car being at fsmoto(best shop ever!!) it now runs flawlessly. my problem is that my air dosent work because tha ******* didnt put it in but the wierd part is that my climate control will not turn past like 75% towards hot. it just stops. i dont wanna force it because it feels like somthin is gonna snap. please anyone let me know what you think

 

open it.. probably stuck with something inside the dash.

 

simple fix. take the **** straight off the unit..just pull it. now position the **** so that the end is pointing towards the end of the hot guage

that really dosent make sense. that will only mess with the **** it will not give me hot air???

 

check the valve in the engine bay. take the cable off and open the valve manually then turn the **** to full hot. then reattach the cable.

 

well ur saying the **** wont go all the way to the hottest point? usually when someone takes the **** off, and put it back on since there isnt any alignment marks, it just needs to be put back into the right spot. try the cable hooked up to the bottom of the heater core housing and also look at the heater control valve in the engine compartment along the firewall! check the fuse for blower motor under the dash 30a along the side of the fuse box.

 

thanks for the help guys. i pulled the **** off and tried to realign it. that wasnt the problem. it literally feels like it will snap if i turn it too hard. but when i recieved the car back it was stuck kinda on hot and i turned it to cold. when i did it was tough but now its rediculous. ill check those parts you guys stated and get back at you
