how many quarts

of oil does an 05 acoord 2.4 4 cylnder take, is it 4 or 5? and if it is 4 does it hurt to put in 5

I am not sure how much oil that motor use but I would guess 4. My aunt's earlier model 2.2 uses 4.

Just check the dipstick when you put 4 in, if its not at the top mark, add more.

Your owner's manual will list the capacities.

2.2 = F22
2.4 = K24

The K24 takes 4.8 quarts, 5 won't hurt, in fact it helps when you take it to the autocross.
