I got to buy one and i need to know how much to expect to spend, needed in 97 gs-r

from the dealership there are well above $500
bt check the HT classifieds (honda marketplace), and you can usually find someone selling their airbag for far less; anywhere from $100 to $250.

Or you could get the tray that fills in the hole without having to buy another airbag.

yep, and those you can get for $40 to $90 depending on where you go and if it's used or not.

Check on Ebay. I just sold my driver AND passenger airbad to a bidder for $20 shipped. Serious. They were just collecting dust and $20 paid for my lunch for two days. Serious.

It'll also save you some weight - thoes airbags are HEAVY
