Default Coilover question

I am putting on a set of coilover sleeves on my car. I know this may sound like a stupid question but which way do I turn the o ring things to lower it? Up or down? Thanks.

The lower the rings are the lower the car is going to be and higher they are the higher the car is going to be

Just a thought:

it can be kinda tough to turn the spring perch by hand when you start compressing the spring (setting the ride height, higher). I called ground-control about it, and they recommended that you have both wheels off the ground when doing it (front end up, or rear end up, accordingly). I did that, it helped only a little...
