Anyone running Progess Coilovers?
I can get a set of progress full coilovers with 650f 850r with Pillow Ball mounts for around $800. Is this a good price? Are they going to be good on track? How about daily driving and overall opinions?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The only problem I have encountered was when trying to change springs, I ended up unscrewing the shaft while I was unscrwing the nut and had to send them into progress to get them fixed.

there 1200 bux a set and people are cheap
I've used them and as a mixed setup you can't do any better, the advance design coilovers that GC makes are better on track but there sold explicity as race only
heres a few more

In So. Cal, there are a number of H4 drivers using the Progress set-up. Steve Ellsworth, Don Mock's car, Gus Heredia, Miguel Escobar, and Mike Schmitt. Rick Hohwart might also be using them, but I'm not sure. In H1, John Thawley is using them.
With the Bernardo Martinez spec. damping, they seem to work well even without the adjustability afforded by other dampers.

I have been running on Progess Coilovers this season and have had no problems.
Progress knows what they are doing and they build reat suspension. For the price and the customer service you can't go wrong.
Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Emmit, you're a bad boy. Did you know you're supposed to remove the top nut off the shaft with one wrench, whist firmly holding the shaft with a second (1/4") wrench? Well, it's true. Using an impact wrench is a no-no. Shock pistons are designed to move up and down. They don't like spinning around at high rpm (as you discovered). If however, this ever DOES happen to me again, I hope I'll have a couple of guys as nice as you and your brother around to bail me out. Thanks for all your help that weekend!!!
As for the Progress sticker and H&R stickers on the TL... That car used a Progress rear bar (and maybe some other stuff, too), but the coil-overs were H&R...
Oh, almost forgot to mention, Progress coilovers are damn good shocks. They are only tune-able with disasembly and re-valving, but the latest valving bitchen. I ran them on the street for a short while, and I can say I'd recommend it on a daily driver (but I'm old and soft...) but they are great on the track. Progress gets a bad rap for being non-adjustable, but they are a much better shock than most guys are drivers. The way for me to get faster isn't adjustable shocks. It's with more practice and track time. Affordable and bullet-proof shocks (Progress) let me concentrate on other matters...

I'm running them on my car and I'm very satisfied. I ordered them with 450F 650R but asked for valving for 700F 900R (in case I wanted to go with stiffer springs in the future) and I like the way they feel. I occasionally drive on the street and it is quite unpleasant, I could never daily drive this setup with the terrible roads we have here. As was mentioned above, the fact that they are not adjustable has not yet been an obstacle as I don't feel I've yet achieved the maximum performance they can deliver. Besides, one less thing to adjust is one less thing I can screw up.
